Chloroxylenol is primarily used as an antiseptic and disinfectant agent. It is used as hygiene product (eg; hand soaps, shampoos, hand sanitizers, surgical scrubs), disinfection for, animal skin, and wounds.

Dosage: (a) Hand hygiene product concentrations ranging from 0.5% to 3%, (b) Concentrations of skin disinfection solutions can range from 0.5% to 4%, (c) Concentrations of surface disinfection solutions can range from 0.5% to 5% (d) Concentrations in veterinary products range from 0.5% to 3%.
