Accountability for achieving the KOPL – South America Regional targets KOPL products and distribution products financial performance (P&L) pricing, customer/products portfolio management, it involves working with global sales & marketing colleagues to develop, shape, implement and achieve regional sales & marketing goals. In addition, be a key interface to the functional resources of the organization – production, supply chain, sales, marketing, procurement, technical, and regulatory.

General Description:

  • Developing and driving sales of the specialty ingredients used in cosmeceutical, personal care Pharma, Food and coating industries for the products manufactured by KOPL including trading of products in demand to achieve AOP.
  • Discussion on Weekly review of CRM, Monthly CRM review with focus on AOP Achievements, collection targets, contracts & Achievements, Overdue, Debtors will be held.
  • Develop sales through a range of distributors, Contract Manufacturers and end customers for the territory assigned to you by providing Sample’s support, and corresponding documents for those products.
  • Driving new customer relationships, familiarizing yourself with the history of customer’s company, KOPL, and the relationship of the two. Develop products that can be outsourced or manufactured by Kumar. Following up start to end with Kumar Sourcing arm and ensuring sale to customers.
  • Assisting in development and executing strategies of new market Development and Penetration.
  • Generating individual monthly sales projection and exceeding target. Achieving company monthly/quarterly/Yearly sales target as per AOP of 21-22.
  • Interact with a diverse team of peers to ensure your needs and your customer’s needs are being maintained by the various arms of KOPL, including Marketing, Accounting, Logistics, R&D, Manufacturing, etc.
  • Visiting customers every quarter and converting visits to Business revenue. Establish & maintain customer relationships across the chemical/personal care/cosmetic industries. 8. Continuously update self and company on new market developments/ market trends on products, pricing and suppliers. Reach out to suppliers and consumers of new products and identify areas with potential for growth and development.

  • Responsible for presenting at trade shows, demonstrate use and benefits of sales lines, create technical brochures and power point presentations.
  • Completing extensive market research and recommending ideas for product development to the R&D department, as well as securing advertising placements in suitable print and online media
  • Coordinating with Logistics Manager to dispatch all orders through generating BOL and coordinating with warehouse for timely dispatch.
  • Generating Daily Sales Report and updating Client Relationship Management software with work every day.
  • Work with accounts to ensure collection of payments on time from all customers and ensuring positive cash flow as it relates to your individual sales.
  • Assisting the GM / Business Manager in achieving overall company Objective.

Maintaining current customer mix for assigned sales region – Developing new customers across your region and providing support to fellow Business Development Executives with their own region – Traveling to Customers/Trade Shows to represent the company and their products – Ensuring proper collection of all funds for sales you’ve made with minimal overdues – Develop projections for your region based on trends, market knowledge, and customer feedback

Work Environment:

Travel is a large component of the position, expected to travel to clients 1 time per quarter (pending on Pandemic Status, i.e, travel currently not required, but expected in the future) –

Support staff includes:

HR Team, Accounting team, Marketing Team, Export Team, and Production Teams (interacting with an average of 30 people across all of these teams) from a total of 700+ employees in the entire organization. – Strong potential for advancement – dependent on the sales performance of your region.
