Precipitated Silica

KOPSIL A1, A2 & T

KOPSIL A1, A2 & T (Natural silica) derived from rice husk is a sustainable and eco-friendly alternative to traditional silica sources such as quartz or sand. Rice husk, the outer covering of rice grains, is a byproduct of rice milling and processing. It contains a significant amount of silica, typically in the form of amorphous silica or silica nanoparticles. KOPSIL is one of the building blocks of toothpaste. It is used for superior rheological control and polishing properties in toothpaste formulations. Kopsil does not interfere with colour, flavour and other active ingredients.

Stability & Storage Natural silica is relatively stable over a wide pH range. However, extreme pH levels could affect its stability or performance in certain applications. It is also resistant to microbial degradation. It should be stored in a cool, dry place away from moisture and direct sunlight to prevent degradation. Proper packaging in sealed containers or bags helps maintain its stability.
